The Degree Completion Program is a fantastic opportunity for adults that have started college or taken classes years ago! The DCP staff works with applicants to customize an educational plan that maximizes previous credits and may include online classes or CLEP or DSST testing to build credits needed. An evaluation of prior learning experience may be included as well.
This chart outlines the degree requirements for graduation:
|General Education||42 credit hours|
|Academic Major||48 credit hours|
|Biblical Studies||6 credit hours|
|Electives||24 credit hours|
|Total||120 credit hours|
If you have completed approximately two years of college coursework or 50-60 hours of college credit, that can be transferred to Arizona Christian University when you are ready to begin.
If you have less than 50 credit hours, that’s okay. We can help you map out a degree completion plan to get you on track with your degree as quickly as possible. If you’re eligible, this plan may include options for receiving academic credit from:
- Military Training
- Professional Certification
- Prior Learning Credit
If you have questions regarding college credits, please contact us at DCPinfo@arizonachristian.edu or (602) 386-4183 and we’ll be glad to map out an individual degree plan.
ACU welcomes Veterans and will accept credits earned through military training and active duty.
